What is ScoreBox21?
ScoreBox21 is the world’s first portable, easy-to-see scoreboard designed specifically for the game of cornhole. It’s made of durable materials and 42 LEDs that are easy to see from a distance in all settings. The scoreboard has a specially designed base that allows it to be used on any surface and folds up for easy storage. A built-in handle provides easy carrying and two drink holders, one per side, offer a convenient place to hold your beverages while you play.
How does ScoreBox21 work?
ScoreBox21 can be unfolded and set up in less than 30 seconds. To power it on, simply press the “Reset-On/Off” button on the front display panel. To move the score up, hit the “Up” button once for each point scored. To move the score down, hit the “Down” button once for each point taken away.
How is ScoreBox21 powered?
ScoreBox21 uses six (6) AA batteries (not included).
How big is ScoreBox21?
ScoreBox21 stands 56 inches tall when set up for use. It folds down to 36 inches when stored. It is 15 inches wide, 4 inches deep and weighs approximately 10.5 pounds.
Why is there a compartment on the top of ScoreBox21?
Many cornhole players like to livestream or video record their matches. The slot on the top of ScoreBox21 is a convenient place to hold cell phones or a tablet for that purpose.
Who should use ScoreBox21?
Anyone who has ever forgotten the score of their cornhole game would benefit from having ScoreBox21 set up behind one of their cornhole boards. It’s the most convenient way to keep score and it’s especially helpful in a tournament setting so onlookers can easily see the score from the sidelines.
ScoreBox21 seems great for doubles play when someone is always there to adjust the score, but what about when I play singles?
When playing singles and throwing toward the board opposite ScoreBox21, simply calculate the points in that inning and adjust the score appropriately before going to the other end for the next round. You do not need a second ScoreBox21 to track your score.
What if the lights don't come on or aren't all functioning?
Should your ScoreBox21 have any LED issues, the first thing to do is check the batteries. Make sure each one is making contact with the metal receptacle opposite the spring. If so, your batteries may just need to be replaced.
What do I do if my ScoreBox21 isn't working properly?
We have a strict quality control program in our manufacturing process, but in the event that your ScoreBox21 is not functioning properly upon arrival, we will fully stand behind that product. See below for full warranty information.
does my Scorebox21 Come with a warranty?
WARRANTY POLICY – SB21
ScoreBox21 is made of a combination of highly durable components that are built to withstand normal wear and tear of any portable outdoor electronic game. It comes with a standard one-year manufacturer’s warranty, meaning we warrant this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, from the original purchase date, and will repair or replace as needed any unit verified to have a manufacturing defect or malfunction.
If you purchased your ScoreBox21 through a retailer, please contact them regarding the warranty and have your proof or purchase available. We will work with them on the proper course of action. For purchases made directly through ScoreBox21, please contact us at [email protected] and include a copy of your original dated receipt and photos of any defective merchandise, if applicable. We will work with you to determine the appropriate solution.
Regardless where the product was purchased, shipping and handling fees are to be paid by the customer. All original packaging must be kept for the duration of the warranty period or the warranty will be voided. This warranty is not transferable.
This warranty does not include:
- Any condition resulting from actions other than ordinary wear or any use of which the product was not intended.
- Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care, including using the product in the rain or other hazardous weather conditions that could damage the components.
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, accidents or shipping.
- Damage incurred during assembly.
- Theft or loss of the product.
- Secondhand purchase of this product voids this warranty for all parties.
All warranty claims must be filed within one year of the date of purchase. ScoreBox21 will repair or replace products once a claim has been approved and cover the return shipping costs to the registered owner.
