‘Brews on the Boulevard’ to feature more than a dozen local breweries and wineries, plus cornhole.

Muncie, Ind. – The general public will have a chance to see, feel and use ScoreBox21 for the first time Saturday, July 30 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Brews on the Boulevard in Carmel, Ind. SB21 creators Paul Dytmire and Andy Klotz will demonstrate the scoreboard throughout the event while giving out merchandise and answering people’s questions. 

“This is going to be fun,” Dytmire said. “We’ve been working a long time to have a chance to show our scoreboard to a big crowd, and we’re happy to be able to do it at such an awesome event.” 

Brews on the Boulevard is the first official beer and wine festival event the City of Carmel has ever hosted. It will feature more than a dozen independent craft breweries, wineries and distilleries, including popular products from Sun King Spirits, Danny Boy Beer Works, Sugar Creek Winery and many others.

ScoreBox21 will be set up for cornhole players under the large tent over the turf in the center of Midtown Plaza, 365 Monon Boulevard. Event goers can throw some bags and use SB21 to get a feel for this new product, which features 42 bright LEDs triggered by push-button controls; a phone slot up top to record the action; and drink holders on either side of the scoreboard.

“I think people are going to find out how much more enjoyable cornhole can be when you’re not constantly trying to remember the score,” Dytmire said.

ScoreBox21 is currently in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign that runs through Aug. 7. Anyone who pre-orders a scoreboard through this link before then will receive as much as 39% off the expected retail price of $179. All scoreboards will be shipped later this fall.
